First visit to the clinic
The success of dental treatment also depends to some extent on the patient. Cooperation with the dentist facilitates proper diagnosis and improves the treatment process.
This is particularly important in the context of your first visit. During this visit, we conduct a detailed interview with the patient, get to know each other, and discuss your concerns, needs, and expectations.
We recommend that patients before their first visit to the dentist :
- bring documentation from previous dental treatment with them; this will make it easier for us to continue treatment,
- if available, bring a diagnostic panoramic X-ray image with them – of course, we can also take one at the ARTIMEDICA Centre (see: radiological diagnostics),
- if you are taking any medication, remember or write down their names,
- Brush your teeth thoroughly, including cleaning the spaces between your teeth with dental floss and/or interdental brushes; disposable toothbrush and toothpaste sets are available at the ARTIMEDICA clinic. disposable toothbrush and toothpaste sets – please ask for one at reception.

After a check-up, we prepare an individual treatment plan proposal, discuss several options in detail, and set a schedule for possible treatment and a cost estimate.

Scheduled appointmentTo make an appointment for a check-up, consultation or scheduled treatment, please contact us by telephone.Urgent appointmentIn urgent cases (injuries, bleeding, sudden tooth loss, acute pain), please contact us immediately – preferably by telephone – and inform the receptionist that it is urgent.In such cases, after consulting with the doctor, we will make every effort to see you as soon as possible - out of turn, possibly outside the doctor's regular working hours.Visits by patients from outside Wrocław - from other towns in Poland and abroadIf you are from outside Wrocław and would like to make an appointment at our Clinic, please contact us by telephone and send an e-mail containing:- planned date of arrival in the country/Wrocław and information about the length of stay, if it is related to treatment
- a detailed description of your symptoms (aesthetic problem, in the case of cosmetic dentistry procedures)
- your treatment history, any X-rays, RVG images or tomographic images you have
Patients from outside Wrocław who make an appointment and undergo treatment at the ARTIMEDICA Holistic Centre for Implantology, Orthodontics and Prosthetics can count on assistance in the following areas:- transport to and from Wrocław (by plane, car or train)
- booking a hotel in Wrocław, transport within the city
- organising your stay in the beautiful city of Wrocław

Recommendations for patients with signs of dentophobia and more
There is no shame in being afraid of the dentist. The dentists at the ARTIMEDICA clinic will help you overcome any fears you may have and ensure that your treatment is painless, completely comfortable and as short as possible.
We recommend the following to patients with symptoms of dentophobia:- before the actual treatment, make an appointment for an introductory visit, during which we will get to know each other and openly discuss your fears, needs and expectations,
- choosing a day for your dental appointment when you do not have any important matters to attend to that could be an additional source of stress,
- avoiding rushing, which can cause unnecessary tension,
- have a positive attitude towards your appointment at the clinic – this is half the battle,
- eat something sweet before your visit – glucose improves your mood; however, it is important to remember to brush your teeth thoroughly before the examination (you can do this at our clinic using free disposable toothbrushes).
