ZEISS surgical microscope

The ZEISS surgical microscope is a state-of-the-art device used, among other things, in dental treatment. It features the highest quality optics, great depth of field and powerful light, thanks to which dental procedures performed with its use are carried out with the utmost precision and care.

The use of a microscope during endodontic (root canal) treatment, thanks to the multiple magnification of the working field and excellent lighting, allows the dentist to:

• locate and treat narrow canals and their branches – especially additional root canals, which are often invisible in traditional treatment, and their possible omission is one of the main causes of endodontic treatment failure,
• perfect treatment and filling of curved canals,
• overcoming obstructions inside the root canal, which is sometimes completely closed,
• removal of broken endodontic instruments, crown-root inlays, hard canal filling cements (during re-treatment),
• correct diagnosis and appropriate root canal treatment in cases of cracks or fractures in tooth tissue that are not visible to the naked eye,
• treatment of tooth root resorption and perforation,
• treatment through crowns and prosthetic bridges without the need to remove and destroy them.

Autoclave for sterilising dental instruments

As one of the few dental clinics in Wrocław, we subject dental instruments not only to disinfection, but also to a full sterilisation process to ensure maximum safety for our patients. In addition, we use germicidal lamps and disposable materials.

A-DEC dental chairs and units

We work with modern A-DEC dental units, which provide our patients with complete comfort and our dentists with exemplary ergonomics. Treatment is carried out in a reclining position, allowing the patient to relax throughout the entire procedure.

Surgical and dental laser

The SMART M PRO diode laser is a state-of-the-art medical device which, thanks to its parameters, has a wide range of applications, primarily in microsurgery (including haemostatic (bleeding-inhibiting) frenulum incisions, seamless removal of gingival overgrowths, excision of hypertrophic gums), endodontics (in the treatment of tooth hypersensitivity, canal disinfection) and periodontology (in the disinfection of gingival pockets, epithelial attachment plastic surgery). In addition, it is ideal for professional teeth whitening.

EMS Air Flow Sandblaster

The Air Flow Sandblaster is a state-of-the-art device successfully used by our dentists and hygienists in supragingival, gingival and subgingival prophylaxis.

This sandblaster effectively removes plaque, deposits and discolouration from fissures and interdental surfaces, as well as reducing the depth of gingival pockets and reducing the amount of bacteria. The sand is administered in a water jacket, which makes it possible to direct the stream very precisely, making the procedure very gentle for the patient.

SHADESTAR – device for measuring tooth colour

ShadeStar is an electronic device used for digital tooth colour selection.

Surgic Pro implant unit

The implant unit from the renowned company NSK is a device that is successfully used by our specialists in surgery and implantology. It allows for very precise and, most importantly, safe procedures in the fields of implantology, endodontics and dental surgery.

PRF DUO QUATRO Centrifuge

The PRF Duo Quatro centrifuge is an innovative device for obtaining two types of platelet-rich fibrin, A-PRF+ and the newly discovered i-PRF fraction, which have unique properties. These fibrins are an autogenous material that supports natural regeneration and significantly accelerates tissue healing. It is possible to obtain fibrin fractions quickly and easily during a single visit to the dentist’s office.

Gendex EXTEND Myray X-ray/RVG unit

We use a modern digital X-ray diagnostic system from Myray. It emits a minimal dose of radiation (more than 10 times lower than in the case of traditional X-ray images on film).

Within seconds of exposure, the digital image is automatically sent to a computer programme that allows for detailed analysis on a monitor screen.

Biostimulation dental laser

Using a biostimulation laser, we accelerate tissue regeneration, eliminate post-treatment swelling and inflammation. The laser reduces the likelihood of any pain symptoms after the procedure.

KAPS 1400 surgical microscope

The KAPS 1400 surgical microscope is a diagnostic and surgical microscope for dentistry with excellent technical parameters. We use the best model offered by KAPS (a German manufacturer of professional optical systems for medicine) on the Polish market. Thanks to this device, the ARTIMEDICA Centre can perform the most complex endodontic and dental microsurgical procedures requiring extreme precision.

Obtura Max system for thermoplastic gutta-percha condensation

One of the most important elements of root canal treatment is the precise and tight filling of the tooth canals. The most modern technique guaranteeing this effect is the technique of filling with thermoplastic gutta-percha. It is much more effective than the commonly used manual filling of canals – the so-called lateral condensation of gutta-percha.

At the ARTIMEDICA Centre, we use a system of devices manufactured by Obtura, a leading manufacturer of endodontic equipment. Obtura MaxPack is used to fill the root apex – for precise closure of the physiological root canal opening. Obtura Max, on the other hand, is a device that softens gutta-percha in a short time. The application is introduced directly into the root canal through a thin needle made of silver alloy. This greatly improves treatment results.

Laughing gas (inhalation sedation)

Inhalation sedation is a very friendly and safe method of combating anxiety and pain using laughing gas – it induces a state of physical relaxation, pleasant drowsiness and detachment from reality.

Inhalation sedation is mainly used in the treatment of children, but also in adults who experience fear of the dentist (known as dentophobia). When inhaling nitrous oxide through a special mask, the patient calms down, and as a result, the dental treatment proceeds more quickly.

SleeperOne – computerised anaesthesia without a syringe

SleeperOne is a device that allows electronic control of the administered anaesthetic by a microprocessor. The system analyses tissue resistance and adjusts the pressure so that it does not exceed the pain threshold. This makes the process of administering the anaesthetic short and stress-free.

SleeperOne is one of the most modern methods of administering anaesthetic, recommended especially for anaesthetising children and people who are sensitive to pain and afraid of injections.

Planmeca Viso G7 3D CT scanner

Planmeca Viso G7 is the most advanced digital tomograph on the global market, which, in addition to 3D tomographic images, also allows for pantomographic images (commonly known as panoramic dental X-rays) and cephalometric images (lateral images of the skull) to be taken. Thanks to its wide imaging range, it is possible to perform examinations covering even the entire facial skeleton.

The equipment has a wide range of applications and provides the dentist with detailed information about the patient’s teeth and bone structures during implant, endodontic and orthodontic treatment, as well as in maxillofacial surgery and ENT.

Tomographic examinations of the mandible, maxilla, sinuses, temporomandibular joints, skull fragments, as well as the entire facial skeleton, enable the physician to make a quick and accurate diagnosis and to plan treatment precisely.

Importantly, the technology used in the device significantly reduces the patient’s exposure to X-rays to a minimum, while maintaining very high image quality.

Beyond whitening lamp

At our Centre, we use the most advanced Beyond teeth whitening system.

Beyond technology allows for exceptionally effective teeth whitening, while guaranteeing patient safety and complete comfort.

Intraoral camera

Thanks to the intraoral camera integrated with the monitor at the dental unit, we can record and show the patient a highly magnified image of their teeth before, during and after treatment.

This is very useful in diagnosing hard-to-reach areas in the mouth and improves communication with the patient.

Dental magnifying glasses

The use of dental magnifying glasses significantly increases the precision of work. They provide several times magnification of the field of view.

VDW Gold Reciproc – multifunctional endodontic micromotor

The VDW Gold Reciproc device enables precise root canal clearing using a machine technique – NiTi ProTaper instruments.

This technique guarantees significantly more accurate and faster preparation of tooth root canals compared to the commonly used manual root canal treatment technique.

The computerised measurement of the working length of the tooth root, integrated with torque control, guarantees the safety and accuracy of the treatment.
