Warranty (guarantee) for dental treatment
We provide a guarantee for dental treatments performed at the ARTIMEDICA Holistic Centre for Implantology, Orthodontics and Prosthodontics.
At the ARTIMEDICA Centre, all procedures are performed with the utmost care, in accordance with the best, constantly expanding knowledge of dentists, using the latest advances in dentistry – modern materials and treatment techniques.
The warranty is valid provided that:
- completion of the originally planned treatment,
- compliance with the dentist’s recommendations regarding conduct during and after treatment,
- maintaining proper oral hygiene,
- following the recommendations regarding hygiene and the rules for use and storage of prosthetic restorations,
- attending follow-up appointments.
Follow-up visits
Attending check-ups is a condition for maintaining the warranty.
Adults should attend check-ups at least once every 6 months, and children once every 3-4 months.
In the case of prosthetic work and surgical procedures, additional check-ups should take place in the second week after the procedure and then 1 month and 3 months after the procedure.
Implant warranty
If the implant is rejected by the body for reasons beyond the patient’s control, the re-implantation procedure will be performed free of charge.
After the implantation procedure, the patient receives an implant passport ensuring implantological assistance, if necessary, at any Biomet3i partner in Poland and worldwide.
Details regarding warranty and guarantee rights for implantation procedures will be presented to you during the consultation prior to the procedure.
The warranty shall be void in the following cases:
- independent adjustments, alterations and repairs of prosthetic restorations,
- damage to restorations caused by external mechanical factors (e.g. accident),
- damage to dentures outside the oral cavity,
- bruxism (teeth grinding),
- physiological bone loss, inflammatory changes in the periodontium and other conditions that adversely affect the patient’s oral cavity and teeth.
The warranty does not cover:
- temporary work, such as temporary crowns or immediate dentures,
- work for which the Patient was informed of a limited warranty or no warranty,
- endodontic, surgical and orthodontic treatment.
In the case of endodontic, surgical and orthodontic procedures, we assure you that we will perform them with due care, the best knowledge and using the best materials, equipment and achievements of modern dentistry.
The human body is living matter, subject to constant change, such as development, disease and ageing. When treating a patient, we often act against the forces of nature, which in fact originally “caused the patient to fall ill”. Just as the human body is incredibly capable of resisting various diseases, it may also, unfortunately, be unable to defend itself against disease, even when aided by the efforts of the best doctors and the best technologies available today.
For this reason, some medical treatments do not guarantee that the body will function properly. However, they will certainly help the patient to fight the disease, achieve maximum improvement in their health and predict its consequences.
